What you can expect
- SUS304 means 304: the JIS designation carries the SUS prefix and matches AISI 304 in composition. Both designations are printed on the certificate so Japanese and Western buyers can use it directly.
- Thickness 0.3–60 mm; judged to JIS dimensional tolerances, finish 2B / BA / No.1.
- Certificates in Japanese or English, with heat number and mechanical data attached.
Frequently asked
Not materially — SUS304 is the JIS G4305 designation. The only difference is the judging standard (JIS and ASTM tolerances differ slightly), and we judge to whichever the order states.
